Insurance and procedures after theft: what to do if theft still occurs?

Unfortunately, even with all possible precautions taken to enhance your bike's security, zero risk doesn't exist. In case of theft, reacting quickly will increase your chances of recovering it and simplify your procedures.

Go directly to the police station or file a pre-complaint online.
